Presentation of E-Activ Hotels
Our relationship with the natural and monumental heritage has changed. We all want to actively enjoy the great variety of landscapes, flora and fauna, as well as the climates and microclimates that exist on the Peninsula and that are unique to Europe, almost making it into a European sub-continent. We also want to enjoy the immense wealth of the cultural and historic patrimony that is a result of the privileged geographic situation of the Peninsula. Initially, we would like to present hotels, in the Pyrenees, in Catalonia and on the St. James’s Way (Santiago trail) that have adapted their services to the walker and the cyclist. The Senderhotels, generally situated in the mountains, attend above all to the needs of walkers and trekkers. The Activhotels offer a broader range of activities, attending above all to cyclists. The Xacobeo hotels are hotels on the Santiago Trail that provide a more specific service to pilgrims, walkers and cyclists who do not (always) wish to stay in the hostels. Pyrenees: our network of 15 hotels in the central Pyrenees. We also offer routes that link up different hotels. Catalonia: Four small family hotels, also near Barcelona and the coast. The Santiago Trail: 20 hotels in strategic places to do the trail at your ease, on foot or by bicycle. |
