The Hostal Senglar forms a part of the historical agricultural cooperative of l’Espluga, also incorporating a large restaurant, night clubs and a theatre. A few kilometres from the Monastery of Poblet, it is situated in a zone of vineyards and olive groves at the foot of the Serra del Montsant. A route to the hermitage of La Trinidad (on foot, intermediate difficulty, 4h, 300m) A solitary route through a typically Mediterranean landscape. 3. El Mirador de la Peña (on foot, intermediate difficulty, 3.5h, 500m). A fast climb to the best viewpoint over Poblet and the surrounding area. 4. The grand tour of the mountains of Poblet (by bicycle, difficult, 3-4h, 25-35km, 550-700m). A circular route through spectacular landscapes of woods and ravines. 5. Espluga de Francolí – Tarrega (by bicycle, very difficult, 6h, 45km, 800m). Along GR paths and the Cistercian route to the Hostal del Carme.
