Routes and Excursions

1. The “Alt Àneu” route (easy, 4h30, 450m ascent). An excursion through the villages around València d’Àneu.

2. The Calvary Way (easy, 4h, 225m). A route that takes us to the nearby village of Son.

3. The “Estany deo Muntanyó” (easy, 3h30, 450m) From the Port de la Bonaigua we climb up to a solitary lake.

4. The Mataró refuge (intermediate difficulty, 5h, 800m). A climb to a little known refuge, passing by numerous lakes.

5. “Estany Lllong de Cabanes” (intermediate difficulty, 5h, 800m ascent). Passing through lush woods and Alpine landscape, we ascend a little known valley.
