The Three National Parks and the Climb of the Aneto, the Highest Peak in the Pyrenees
This route places us in three key zones of the mountain range:
The Aigües Tortes National Park, the most important Alpine lake zone of Europe (with more than 200 lakes).
The Posets-Maladeta Natural Park, with the Aneto (3,400m/13,260 ft).
The Ordesa National Park and the “Parc National des Pyrenées) on the French side, which shelter the only zone of great canyons and rocky circuses in Europe.
Days 1-3: We take the classic routes to explore the PN d’Aigües Tortes, with the possibility of climbing the most famous peaks of the zone, like El Peguera (2,980m/11,622 ft) and El Tuc de la Ratera (2,880m/11,232 ft).
